Lyndall Cain has completed a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and English (2012) and an Honours in Curatorship (2013) both at the University of Cape Town. While working she is also, currently, doing her Masters in Creative Writing and finds her art historical research often creeping into her stories.

Projects she has worked on, at the Centre for Curating the Archive, include: Martyrs, Saints and Sell-outs (2013), Movie Snaps (2015), The Wynberg 7: An Intolerable Amnesia (2015) and An Impossible Return (2015).

She is currently working on Erf 81: Two Decades of Living on the Fringe.
