Alexandra Ross, a postdoctoral research fellow at the CCA, has recently had a project proposal selected for the upcoming edition of the Transart Triennale, a co-curated project with UK based curator Gayle Meikle.

The project will take the form of a performance, a presentation and a discussion, on themes relating to the concepts of intimacy and distance, from a curatorial and artistic perspective. There will be a dual presentation by Ross and Meikle, incorporating commissioned and selected artworks by artists working with sound art and the spoken word. The final part, of the curatorial process, will take the form of a polyphonic essay, working with the sonic to explore ideas relating to intimacy, distance, trust and collaboration.

The festival will run from the 1st to the 6th of August in Berlin. For more information click on the link below: http://www.transart.org/triennale-2016/
