The Tamboerskloof Farm project was postponed last year out of respect for the student protests but we are pleased to announce that the exhibition “ERF 81: Two Decades of Living on the Fringe” is back on and will be opening on the 25th of May at 18:00. All are welcome to join us for this at the AVA Gallery on Church Street, Cape Town. But, if you can’t make the opening the exhibition will run until the 25th of June so there will be plenty of time to view it.

“Erf 81: Two Decades of Living on the Fringe” consists of photographs by Ashley Walters, taken during his time on the farm, and art objects by resident artists of the farm André Laubscher and Dirk Winterbach. The exhibition hopes to take a closer look at life on the farm and the impending eviction that threatens this.

Check back soon for more on the farm but in the meantime if you have further enquiries please contact Magdaleen Du Toit: DTTMAG004@myuct.ac.za
