CCA to host Live Streaming Event from Whitechapel Gallery, London: 16th April

We are excited to announce the CCA as a Live Streaming Partner with Whitechapel Gallery, London and Situations, Bristol.

‘Public Art Now’

Streaming live from Whitechapel Gallery London

Thursday April 16

19.00 – 21.00

In order to set the discussion within the South African context there will be a pre-streaming discussion with local specialists including Khanyisile Mbongwa of Gugulective and Robin Jutzen, Arts and Culture Cape Town, and Alexandra Ross, CCA Post-Doctoral Fellow, (Chair).

The live screening from London will involve Claire Doherty, Director of Situations, Nato Thompson, Chief Curator from Creative Time, Magdalena Malm, Director Public Art Agency Sweden and artist Heather Morison, and will discuss the risks and delights of making work in the public realm.
